ICÔNE is an impressive office building in Belval, Luxembourg, designed by renowned British architectural firm Foster + Partners on behalf of BESIX. Covering a whopping 18,800 m², the building boasts unique features that contribute to a welcoming, innovative and smart working environment. This includes a glass facade, 800 m² of stores and restaurants, and advanced technological facilities.
And we produced the walls
Our contribution? The walls! We developed a new modular wall system especially for this project. These are no less than 5 meters high, contain integrated LED lighting in the ceiling and vertical subdivisions. To highlight the size of the project, you will find 1,650m² of our walls and 57 glass doors. We are extremely proud of the result!
International recognition
The ICÔNE project has attracted international attention and has been shortlisted for a prestigious award in the World Architecture Festival’s Completed Building, Office category. The award ceremony will take place in Singapore from Nov. 6 to 8. We are very curious to see if ICÔNE emerges as the winner!
